Sexy Fruit finds Alice Kinsella dipping between graveyards, nightclubs, sexual health clinics, confessional booths, J-Stor and many more delightfully strange and seedy spots. The poetry is deftly written, her tales of the flesh collide with a naturally subversive bent and strong descriptive powers. Proudly female and not afraid to punch the reader in the eye, Sexy Fruit is wonderful work from a fresh new voice.
