The title poem threatens to unwrite itself as Ng holds his audience to ransom: either his poem must be paid for or it won't have existed at all, it presents a deft analogy of poetry’s relevance being undercut by lack of market share. The best remedy would be to get a copy of Brian Ng’s Bit Elegies and delight in their myriad linguistic fireworks and Ashberian disturbances of order.
